The position is responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts at the site. It plays a key role in the development and implementation of manufacturing process improvements that drive new performance levels, improve quality, consistency and cost.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop a thorough understanding of all factors and conditions that impact the processes and products, including environmental impacts\nUse sound project management skills to manage multiple improvement projects\nAnalyze problems and implement solutions using critical thinking skills and focused improvement methods\nApply advanced statistical tools and DOE methodologies to monitor process variation and drive continuous improvement initiatives\nIncorporate creative thinking into the problem-solving approach to identify unique and different ways to make things better/more consistent/faster/cheaper/efficient \nPrepare diagrams, charts, tables to reflect findings and support recommendations\nWork closely with the Product Development area to create new samples and products\nCommunicate and work effectively with a diverse group of associates to accomplish project and location goals\nParticipate fully in the Safety Process \nLead data analysis projects using SQL and Power BI to identify production inefficiencies, optimize machine performance, and reduce defects across multiple departments\nDesign and automate interactive dashboards and reports that support real-time, data-driven decisions for plant leadership\nQualifications - Required:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Textile Engineering\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nQualifications - Preferred:\nPrevious manufacturing experience (intern, co-op, or fulltime)\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate strengths in the following:\nCommunication skills -
