We are a tech healthcare data company transforming how the industry understands and consumes healthcare data.\nWe are seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst to help transform complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that improve quality, reduce costs, and support better healthcare decision-making. Working alongside consultants, product teams, and analytics experts, you'll profile, validate, and analyze large healthcare datasets while helping onboard new clients and support MedInsight's industry-leading analytics platform.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data problems, learning new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nConduct data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions, including healthcare data reporting, client deliverables, and internal analyses using SQL, Databricks, Python, and other analytical tools.\nSupport the creation and production of forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, and other client or internal deliverables.\nCapture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, methodologies, analytical processes, and data quality requirements.\nConstruct datasets, monitor data quality, and assist with troubleshooting and resolving data issues to help ensure data integrity.\nDevelop, maintain, and execute data quality checks, feasibility assessments, validation processes, reconciliation activities, and quality data audits.\nInterpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to help determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.\nCommunicate analytical findings, trends, and business impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders with appropriate guidance and review.\nWrite SQL queries and support query refinement to meet reporting, analytics, and client deliverable needs.\nCollaborate with Product, Consulting, Engineering, Client Success, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, support implementations, and help resolve client questions.\nIdentify and define opportunities for process and data improvements, including automation of recurring analyses and improvements to analytical workflows.\nManage assigned work in accordance with project priorities and timelines, seeking guidance when assignments involve increasing complexity.\nEnsure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits, validation activities, and analysis consistent with MedInsight Quality Risk Management standards and company policies.\nDemonstrate MedInsight’s core values of Quality, Integrity, and Opportunity in daily work, collaboration, and client support.\nTravel occasionally for team meetings or professional development, typically less than 5%.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related quantitative field.\nExperience\nOne or more years of experience using SQL or comparable data querying tools.\nExperience analyzing structured datasets and producing analytical deliverables.\nExperience using one or more of the following technologies:\nSQL Server / T-SQL\nPython\nPySpark\nAzure Databricks\nComparable scripting or analytical tools\nRequired Skills:\nProficiency writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.\nStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working with Microsoft Excel.\nUnderstanding of relational databases and data warehouse concepts.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nCuriosity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.\nCollaborative approach with the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with healthcare claims, eligibility, provider, clinical, or pharmacy data.\nExperience using Azure Databricks or PySpark.\nExperience creating dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.\nFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.\nExperience supporting healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or data warehousing initiatives.\nLocation:\nThis role will be located in Seattle, Washington and will follow a hybrid schedule, requiring one or two days in office per week.\nCompensation:\nThe salary range is $80,168 -
