In this role, you’ll support restoration and building systems projects while developing hands-on experience in field inspections, technical analysis, and construction documentation. You’ll work closely with project leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions across complex projects.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport MEP and building restoration projects across all phases under supervision\nAssist with site inspections, field measurements, and condition assessments (including elevated and confined spaces)\nPrepare and update technical documents: drawings, reports, specifications, and field notes\nCreate and modify AutoCAD drawings and sketches\nParticipate in client, contractor, and consultant meetings\nTrack project documentation, photos, and records\nHelp monitor construction progress and identify issues or discrepancies\nCollaborate with team members to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field)\n1-3 years of relevant experience\nProficiency in AutoCAD\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively\n\nPreferred:\nExposure to building systems, construction, or façade/restoration work\nFamiliarity with NYC building codes or inspections\nOSHA certifications or willingness to obtain scaffold safety certifications\nWork Environment & Schedule\nThis position is based in New York City, with a hybrid schedule.\nStandard working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.\nTravel within NYC required\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: $80,000 - $90,000, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision, insurance, and 401K plan with a match.\nPaid time off: Holiday, vacation, sick time, personal and birthday.\nCareer development and growth opportunities.\n\nHLZAE, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Milrose Consultants, LLC, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
