In this role, you will lead the successful execution of high-profile and complex permitting projects across the country while collaborating with clients, municipal agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.\nThe Senior Project Manager serves as a senior-level project leader responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, providing strategic guidance to clients, and supporting the development of project team members. This role combines hands-on project execution with leadership responsibilities, helping drive operational excellence and best-in-class service standards across the organization.\nWhat You'll Do\nManage the full lifecycle of permit-related projects, from initial filing through permit issuance, certificate of occupancy, and project completion.\nServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring proactive communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.\nCoordinate and collaborate with clients, plans examiners, municipal agencies, consultants, and internal teams to advance project objectives.\nOversee project deliverables, including entitlements, schedules, timelines, approvals, and risk management.\nMonitor project progress, identify potential obstacles, and implement solutions to maintain project momentum and successful outcomes.\nEnsure compliance with internal procedures, project requirements, and quality standards.\nPrepare project reports, documentation, status updates, and milestone summaries for leadership and clients.\nTrack project performance and maintain accurate project data within company systems.\nResolve project challenges with professionalism, urgency, and a solution-oriented mindset.\nContribute to productivity goals, operational initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.\nMentor and support Project Managers and other project team members through coaching, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.\nPartner with leadership to support strategic initiatives and drive successful project outcomes.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related field.\n5-8+ years of experience in project management, permitting, construction management, architecture, municipal compliance, or a related field.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex projects and multiple concurrent project timelines.\nStrong project leadership, client relationship management, and problem-solving skills.\nProven experience collaborating with internal and external project teams, with the ability to motivate, delegate, and drive accountability across multiple priorities.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.\nPreferred\nKnowledge of permitting workflows, municipal codes, and regulatory approval processes.\nExperience managing complex permitting projects and coordinating with municipal agencies.\nExperience supporting multi-state or national project portfolios.\nPMP certification or other relevant project management credentials.\nWork Environment & Schedule\nThis position is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule.\nStandard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.\nOccasional travel may be required for client meetings, project site visits, and municipal agency interactions.\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: $90,000-$100,000 based on knowledge, skills, and experience.\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k) plan with company match.\nPaid time off: holiday, vacation, sick time, personal, and birthday.\nCareer development and growth opportunities.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nMilrose Consultants, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
