You will work with your team to develop and offer solutions that allow Caterpillar equipment owners to achieve the lowest operating costs possible and minimize equipment downtime. You will also assist management in developing the strategic direction of the Product Support effort at Milton CAT. This position is responsible for working with a team of outside sales representatives to promote all products and services offered by Milton CAT.\nSalary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 plus bonus. This is a regional position with travel, company vehicle provided.\nBenefits include:\nPaid Time Off + 8 company paid holidays\nMedical, Dental and Vision insurance options for Employee and Family \nDisability & Life Insurance Packages\nCompetitive Retirement Plan \nTuition Reimbursement - available to FT employees with 1 year+ of service\nAdditional supplemental offerings and discount programs\nEmployee Referral Program\nCompany cell phone and computer provided\nResponsibilities\nLead a field-based team focused on building strong customer relationships, promoting all Milton CAT product support offerings, and driving territory growth through consultative selling\nOversee sales efforts related to Prime, Standby, and Industrial Engine repairs and overhauls.\nAssist direct reports in working with customers to achieve lower operating costs by recommending appropriate product options\nWork with your team and other departments to identify existing and new opportunities \nEnsure your team acts as the primary liaison between customers and Milton CAT in all areas of product support.\nSupport development of strategic territory plans to grow parts and service sales annually\nDevelop an effective working relationship with all sales, service and parts managers to ensure an exceptional level of customer service\nGenerate and develop new business to meet business goals.\nCreate and maintain profiles on all major parts and service competitors\nMeet targets for sales, profits, and close ratios\nCoach team members on consultative selling and technical solution development\nIdentify performance gaps in your team members and develop individual action plans to improve\nParticipate in business and trade events; maintain membership in trade organizations\nSupport and drive sales initiatives for service agreements and aftermarket service contracts\nLead strategy and execution for fuel polishing, load bank testing, transfer switch testing, and generator testing\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent Trade School certificate or relevant experience. High School Diploma required\n3-5 years’ experience with a Generator equipment dealership in a parts or service sales role\nAbility to manage a team of representatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment\nProficient in the use of computers and related Microsoft software, including CRM\nStrong written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills\nPerform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding internal and external customer expectations\nWork with minimal supervision\nExcellent organizational skills\nTravel throughout your defined territory with flexible working hours. \nAttend meetings which may require overnight stays\nAbility to analyze service data and customer trends to guide team strategy\nProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving sales, service, and technical support\nPreferred Skills and Competencies:\nPrevious selling experience.\nPrior territory management experience.\nWorking knowledge of Caterpillar products.\nPrevious experience in the Electric Power industry.\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
