We're looking for a skilled Service Manager to oversee all service operations, including fleet and parts inventory, maintenance, repair, quality, safety, and shipping/receiving. Supervise employees, manage hiring and retention, conduct performance reviews, and implement policies to enhance team skills and operational efficiency.\nPay Range: $70,000 - $80,000/year\nResponsibilities\nWhat You’ll Do:\nManage and order parts/shop supplies and budget.\nManage and oversee inventory system and ensure the accuracy of inventory.\nSchedule and track maintenance intervals, ensuring timely service.\nMaintain service records for all equipment.\nProcess and recover warranty claims promptly.\nComplete and enter work orders daily. Allocate parts and labor costs through a work order system.\nProvide damage estimates and invoices to customers and field sales reps timely and accurately.\nLog and track field service calls, ensuring timely response and customer communication.\nEnsure all rental machines have current inspections and certifications.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard.\nPrioritize and manage repair tasks to maximize fleet utilization and productivity.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nDetail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.\nCustomer Service: Outstanding interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.\n Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace new technology (cell phones, iPads, CRM, etc.).\nEager to Learn: A hunger for knowledge and the ability to apply new skills.\nQualifications\nHigh School diploma or GED, trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred.\nExperience as a Service Manager or a similar role is preferred.\nStrong mechanical aptitude.
