The EPMO team is responsible for framing up and delivering large, complex, and cross-functional initiatives. The EPMO Sr Project Leader leads and directs cross-functional team members throughout the project. This role is responsible for managing multiple cross-functional workstreams in the program while continuously summarizing and translating progress and challenges for Executive Leadership’s visibility.\nThis position is a fundamental part of our cross-functional team located in a fast-paced transactional environment of the corporate office in Menomonee Falls, WI. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven “big picture” vision, communication skills that can inspire change and provide clarity to complex challenges, possess innate curiosity and problem-solving mentality, and bring change management experience in various transactional processes including engineering, supply chain, operations, marketing, finance, and sales.\nThis role will initially support a strategic global product sustainability initiative and is expected to transition to other enterprise priorities. The Senior Project Leader will lead complex work spanning business-process redesign, product-data governance, enterprise technology, systems integration, organizational change, and implementation-partner delivery.\nYou’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:\nDevelop and execute project plans using strong project management skills. Develop project charters and governance documents. Drive accountability for team to successfully complete tasks.\nCapability to quickly establish credibility and trust with different business units and functions, influence project teams and persuade professionals at all levels.\nStrategic leadership to continually challenge status quo and strive for solutions that are sustainable and provide long-term value for the business.\nConsistently visualizes entire scope of a project with very little guidance. At times, taking step back to evaluate against business and departmental big picture paying particular attention to interdependencies with adjacent programs and initiatives in the business.\nAbility to translate issues into business impact in clear and concise manner for leadership’s visibility and understanding.\nInspire and drive project team and stakeholders to transform our business in alignment with established future-state vision.\nConfidence to ask questions and constructively challenge subject matter experts and other leaders to drive clarity and alignment within the project team.\nSchedules, develops agendas for, and facilitates project meetings. Documentation of discussion with action items effectively captured is shared shortly thereafter.\nTrack project schedules keeping visibility to team members and stakeholders, to ensure adherence to timelines.\nEstablish appropriate metrics and report on progress, achievements, and results. This includes executive level reporting, management updates, and best practice sharing throughout the organization.\nProvide multiple “what-if” scenarios to find best solution to achieve future state. Well-rounded understanding of financial impacts of these scenarios.\nDetermines appropriate level of stress/ testing to place on project improvement initiative to prove reliability of improvement or change. Works with business to develop these test plans and methodologies.\nEnsure changes are fully integrated through follow-up communication, perseverance, and consistency.\nIdentify and escalate (when needed) key project hurdles or roadblocks.\nDevelop and deliver project fundamental training to all levels of organization as needed (advocate of project management methodologies). Build the skills of all functional leaders and associates through hands-on interactions and personal mentoring.\nPeriodic travel may be required up to 15%.\nThe TOOLS you’ll bring with you:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent years of directly related experience in professional roles\nMinimum 3-5 years related project management experience\nPrevious facilitator and coaching experiences where problem solving, process development and/or behavior change methods and tools have been used\nMust possess strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills in an executive setting\nDemonstrated ability to solve complex business and technical problems through practical solutions\nProven ability to drive issue resolution with a strong sense of urgency and ownership\nProven ability to make timely decisions and overcome obstacles in fast paced, ambiguous environments\nDemonstrated ability to establish project governance mechanisms, identify and manage interdependent schedules, identify and manage project risks, and drive cross-functional accountability\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including MS Project or similar\nThe TOOLS we prefer you have:\nMaster’s Degree pertinent to any cross functional business interactions\nSuccess in managing multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions, and working effectively in a matrix environment\nWorking knowledge of product lifecycle management, product information management, master data management, and product data governance processes\nExperience with PLM, ERP, PIM, WMS, or other enterprise data and technology platforms\nProsci Certified Change Practitioner\nPMP or PMI Certification\nSix Sigma
