The individual in this position willbe responsible forsupervising people conducting inventory functions including physical inventory, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, SKU relocationwithutilizinga WMS, RFscanningand an ERP system. This position will help drive inventory accuracy, pickingaccuracyand efficiency by leading their team to manage the company’s inventory effectively.\nYou’llbe DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:\nEmpowered Leader:\n· Leads a team to manage the day-to-day operations and activities of facilities and programs effectively and efficiently in an assigned area.\n·Solicitsfeedback from Team Leads and Associate Supervisor related to performance and takes corrective action when needed.\n· Leads in the recruitment, hiring, promoting, andterminatingprocesses as needed.\n· Works with manager to ensureappropriate staffinglevels.\n· Sets schedules according to workload\n· Serves as a back-up in the absence of the Manager\nCandid:\n· Fosters a high degree of morale among associates, including providing feedback, recognition, and rewards.\n· Conducts or delegates or shift start-up meetings; communicates information related to culture, safety, production, accuracy, recognition, and facility/HR updates to keep team members informed\n· Leads the performance review process and enters ratings in PEAK\nSpeed, Agility, Urgency:\n· Providestimely, ongoing communication ensuring theappropriate disseminationof information to team leads and associates within the area.\n· Responsible for creating overall shift schedules and serving as back up for the Manager.\n· Final payroll approver in Kronos\nAlways Improving:\n·Identifiesmeasures that can improve various warehouse processes without theadditionalfinancial burden.\n· Develops all employees to become a valuable part of the team to ensure their skills are at par with warehouse standards and regulations.\n· Responsible foridentifyingand growing future team leaders withinMilwaukeeTool.\n· Provides formal and informal feedback on an ongoing basis and leads the annual performance evaluation process toidentifyand develop talent.\n· Recommends employee corrective actions including recommendations for termination\nObsessed:\n·Establishesoperational strategy and related activities tofacilitateconsistent area goal achievement.\n·Maintainsand enforces a clean and safe working environment.\n· Drives safety and culture and holds team members accountable forcomplianceincluding but not limited to adhering to safety incident reporting/protocols.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nThe TOOLSyou’llbring with you:\n· Unwavering focus on safety\n· Leadership experience and potential for future growth, able to coach on performance issues and discipline as necessary\n· Results-focused, takes ownership of team success\n· Strategically minded, able to assess team's needs and delegate effectively to exceed objectives\n· Exceptional communication skills, candid, able to delegate and manage the team successfully around multiple projects and priorities\n· Able to problem-solve quickly and execute solutions effectively\n· Has a development mindset, develops team for growth and is coachable. Must be able to execute tasks with minimal direct supervision.\n\nBachelorsof Business Administration or equivalent degree preferred, will accept strong work experience in place of a degree\n\nExperience working in inventory systems such as WMS systems, RF scangunsand ERP systems\n\nWorking Conditions:\nManufacturing\n· Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes\n· Standing forlong periodsof time, as well as repetitive motion\n·Operatemanual pallet jacks (Operation of other equipment is a plus!)\n· Able to work in various temperature conditions\n· Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70lbs\nThe physical and weightlifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
