Come be part of a winning team that feels like family.\nYour Role on Our Team:\nThe Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes that ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met. This role works cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and NPD Engineering to optimize operations, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement across assigned areas.\nYou’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:\nDevelop and update manufacturing work instructions and related process documentation.\nDesign, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to increase throughput, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.\nConduct time studies, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve cycle time, labor efficiency, and overall process flow.\nSupport the installation, startup, and validation of new equipment and technology.\nCollaborate with Maintenance to improve PM schedules and reduce unplanned downtime.\nLead or support root-cause analysis on machine, tooling, or process issues.\nProvide daily floor support to troubleshoot process, tooling, and equipment issues.\nUtilize key process indicators to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and uptime of production equipment.\nEnsure communication of process changes and updates across shifts and plant personnel.\nParticipate in Kaizen and continuous improvement projects as necessary.\nSupport build readiness for engineering changes, new product launches, or product transfers.\nAct as technical resource for manufacturing and maintenance and as a backup for other engineers.\nContribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall business goals.\nResponsible for the completion of assigned manufacturing projects; identify potential project risks and issues and implement proactive measures to ensure project milestones and objectives are met.\nDemonstrate strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, actively challenging the status quo to deliver optimal solutions for the business.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate standards.\nThe TOOLS you’ll bring with you:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field\nMinimum 1 year of Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, or related experience required\nExperience supporting manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, stamping, assembly, coating, automation)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nProficiency with CAD and data analysis tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Excel)\nUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles and structured problem solving\nAdvanced computer knowledge and skills in MS Office/Project and Solidworks/AutoCAD/NX \nOther TOOLS we prefer you to have:\nExperience in high-volume manufacturing environments.\nKnowledge of PLCs, robotics, or automated systems.\nHands-on experience with tooling design or process validation\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment:\nThe employee may be required to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus\nProlonged standing of eight or more hours a day\nFrequent walking\nOccasional bending, crouching, twisting, and reaching\nEmployees may be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain work cells\nWe provide these great perks and benefits:\nMedical, dental and vision insurance plans\nGenerous 401 (K) savings plan\nEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP)\nEducation assistance\nAnd many more!
