As a Platform Engineer I, you'll join our Digital Platform team and help power the digital experiences used by Milwaukee Tool customers.\nYou'll help administer and take ownership of platforms that support email marketing, customer engagement, demand generation, customer feedback, and digital forms. You'll partner with engineers, architects, product managers, and business teams to configure technology, solve problems, and turn business needs into effective digital solutions.\nThis is an early-career role designed for someone with 0-2 years of relevant experience who enjoys solving problems, learning how systems work, and taking ownership at the intersection of technology and business.\nYou’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:\nConfigure, maintain, and optimize platforms to support transactional and marketing email journeys, lead generation, and customer feedback.\nTranslate business and product needs into technical solutions.\nTroubleshoot platform issues, bugs, and integration problems across digital products.\nWork with APIs, webhooks, data feeds, and integrations between enterprise systems.\nAnalyze data and system behavior to identify root causes and solve problems.\nSupport projects through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.\nParticipate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.\nUse data, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities to improve customer experiences and business processes.\nPartner with product managers and business teams to understand and prioritize requests.\nDocument platform configurations, technical solutions, and support processes.\nWork with engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders across departments and geographies.\nBuild deep expertise in assigned platforms and grow into their trusted technical owner and subject matter expert.\nThe TOOLS you’ll bring with you:\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business or Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nInterest in learning, administering, and taking long-term ownership of enterprise software platforms and digital technologies.\nFamiliarity with, or willingness to learn, JSON, APIs, data structures, and debugging.\nBasic SQL or willingness to learn.\nAbility to break down ambiguous problems, ask thoughtful questions, and find practical solutions.\nAbility to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.\nClear communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\nSystems thinking and an interest in understanding how technologies, platforms, and business processes work together.\nAbility to collaborate with diverse teams across departments and geographies.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.\nInterest in digital communications and customer experiences is a plus.\nExperience or familiarity with software such as Braze, Qualtrics, Digioh, or Rudderstack a plus.\nProgramming or scripting experience is helpful but not required.\nWe provide these great perks and benefits: \nRobust health, dental, and vision insurance plans\nGenerous 401(k) savings plan\nEducation assistance\nOn-site wellness, fitness center, food, and coffee service\nAnd many more -
