To learn more about our story click HERE.\nReporting to Systems Quality/Reliability Group Manager, the Senior Electrical Engineering Technician's primary duties are:\nProgramming MCU’s with proprietary software\nPerforming functional review of firmware programmed on MCU\nAnalyzing any programming errors and working with EE’s to mitigate future errors\nOrganizing and maintaining Secure Programming Lab\nYou’ll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:\nTest, inspect, and identify Milwaukee Tool products that do not adhere to quality standards \nAbility to identify symptoms of broken or non-conforming parts and investigate root cause of failure\nOrder and prep raw materials used for testing\nEffectively document and present of data associated with root cause investigations\nProficient at reading, comprehending, and executing actions of work instructions\nComprehend electrical schematics, specifically electronic component schematic\nUnderstand and utilize technical problem-solving methods to identify and inform of issues outside the scope of initial investigation\nOperate lab equipment properly and adhere to all safety requirements in the work area\nHazardous voltage safety is critical in this position\nSupport lab cleanliness and housekeeping\nPerform support activities of the Quality/Reliability team as needed\nWhat TOOLS you’ll bring with you:\nRequires technical education in Electrical Engineering as is normally acquired in 2-year associate degree, military equivalent, and supplemented by technical seminars or on job experience\nAn intermediate technician level of electrical circuit analysis is assumed\nCandidates would be expected to be fully versed in electrical test equipment and basic soldering techniques\nStrong electrical/mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities\nStrong professional written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills\nTroubleshooting experience is a requirement\nIntermediate understanding of Microsoft’s Azure Dev OPS, ideally experience with modifying ADO boards and associated tools\nIntermediate skills in core Microsoft applications -
