This role will apply quality engineering principles, project management skills, and data-driven problem-solving to ensure quality processes and product across manufacturing capabilities while executing operational readiness.\nWorking cross-functionally, this individual will manage assigned quality projects from concept through implementation and develop the skills to lead quality initiatives.\nYou'll Be DISRUPTIVE Through These Duties and Responsibilities\nLead small to moderately complex quality engineering projects, ensuring successful execution of scope, timelines, and deliverables.\nEvaluate manufacturing and service processes, equipment, and inspection methods to identify and reduce sources of defects, variation, and risk. \nLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and fishbone analysis. \nAnalyze quality data, including scrap, rework, customer returns, and warranty/field data, to identify trends and drive sustainable improvements. \nDevelop and implement inspection plans, test methods, work instructions, and error-proofing solutions to ensure process capability and product conformance.\nDevelop project plans, track milestones, identify quality risks, and communicate progress and metrics to key stakeholders.\nCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and external partners to resolve quality issues and ensure project alignment.\nSupport quality management system requirements, audits, and documentation, and coordinate handoff of validated processes to site Operations and Continuous Improvement teams.\nIdentify opportunities to standardize quality processes and support continuous improvement across Kitting & Manufacturing operations.\nThe TOOLS You'll Bring With You\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.\n2+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, project execution, or related operations.\nWorking knowledge of quality tools such as control plans, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.\nDemonstrated ability to manage project activities, timelines, and deliverables.\nStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret quality data.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across functional teams and manage competing priorities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in service/repair, returns, manufacturing, kitting, or distribution operations.\nExperience with SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, and statistical software such as Minitab.\nKnowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience with APQP/PPAP, NPD processes, supplier quality, or warranty analysis.\nMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity
