To learn more about our story click HERE.\nAs a Project Engineer II for Milwaukee you will be utilizing your engineering skills and project management ability to execute design changes, derivative tool releases and general maintenance of existing products.\nMilwaukee Electric Tool offers benefits on your first day of work (health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k) and an excellent working environment that includes an on-site cafeteria as well as a state of the art fitness facility!\nYou’ll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:\nLead small to medium scale engineering projects and provides engineering support on mid-level complexity projects under the supervision of Project Leader.\nWork cross-functionally and globally with Quality & Reliability Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Service & Support, Marketing, and numerous other departments.\nEvaluate product designs relative to the selection, cost and resolution of problems associated with materials, heat treatment and finishes. Work cross functionally with advanced engineering teams.\nAssist in developing comprehensive project plans and drive project execution to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets per project plans.\nMonitor & Track project progress and provide monthly project status updates to senior management and the project team.\nRegularly visit the manufacturing cells/suppliers to maintain open lines of communication with the cell/suppliers and provide troubleshooting analysis as required.\nRequest and perform tests per established procedures\nInterpret data and make corresponding design recommendations including but not limited to:Utilization of computer aided simulation tools\nStress analysis\nSelection of materials and heat treatments\nTolerance stacks and deviation analysis\nSelection and evaluation of lubricant properties and uses\nStatics and dynamics\nNoise and vibration analysis\nlnteract with suppliers to develop part and product specifications that meet performance requirements while falling within process capabilities.\n\nWhat TOOLS you’ll bring with you:\nBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or educational equivalent is required. Preferred degree in Mechanical Engineering.\nMinimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.\nAbility to travel to Internationally & domestically several times of year is required (15% travel).\nAbility to manage several simultaneous projects is required.\nHighly developed Mechanical aptitude is required including a broad knowledge of engineering materials used in hand tools, and an understanding of the manufacturing processes associated with these materials.\nAbility to use CAD is required.
