The Repair/Recon Quality Technician will demonstrate expert knowledge in multiple disciplines including but not limited to Auditing, Warranty Analysis, and Tool Repair process.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nOperate lab equipment, tools, presses and gauges properly, following all safety requirements in the work area\nManage quality collections and ensure all tools are collected correctly and efficiently\nEnsure quality areas are clean and meet 5s standards\nManage recordkeeping and update records on system, maintain receiving files and records\nPerform workplace audits with documented results\nPerform fixture audits to ensure facility is adequately stocked\nDaily inspect all quality scrap repair parts from tech benches\nMaintain quality collection list (collect, box, ship, track, etc.)\nControl scrapped or rejected parts until disposition is determined\nPrepare batteries for recycling once they have been evaluated\nEvaluate failed batteries and track data for Quality team\nProvide floor support for technicians experiencing quality issues\nPerform and track RBR tool functional reviews\nTake appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction\nKnow and practice the 5 S’s for industrial housekeeping\nTest, Inspect, and identify Milwaukee Tool products that do not adhere to Quality standards \nAbility to Identify symptoms of broken or non-conforming parts and investigate root cause.\nTroubleshoot issues mechanical in nature to help identify root causes\nCollect and communicate data through a variety of software and user interfaces including MS Excel, Quality Management (HQMS) and other Database data entry.\nProficient at reading, comprehending, and executing actions of work instructions.\nUnderstand and utilize Technical Problem-Solving methods to work through problems or issues.\nPerform support activities of the Quality/Reliability team as needed\nPhysical Demands\nRepetitive motion\nMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds\n\nEducation and Experience Requirements:\nHigh School or GED diploma required\nAssociate’s Degree with a technical focus (CAD, Construction Mgmt., Eng.
