needs.\nYour Role on Our Team:\nAs a UX Designer, you will participate throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery through solution development, understanding user needs and translating research insights, technical capabilities, and product requirements into thoughtful interface and interaction solutions.\nYou will collaborate closely with Product Management, Research, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to deliver customer-centered solutions.\nThe ideal candidate is an independent and collaborative designer who can take ownership of complex design challenges, contribute during discovery and planning, and carry work from concept through implementation.\nYou’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:\nPartner with Product Management and Research to understand customer problems, identify opportunities, and contribute to discovery directly with Product Management as needed. \nDesign experiences for multi-platform products and solutions across web, iOS, Android, and connected hardware. \nBalance customer, business, and technical needs to simplify complex workflows and inform design decisions. \nBreak down complex initiatives into manageable design activities, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for incremental delivery. \nApply systems thinking to create cohesive experiences across products, platforms, and Milwaukee Tool's design system. \nCollaborate closely with Product Management, Product Owners, Engineering, Industrial Design, Development, other UX Designers, and Quality Assurance partners throughout the product lifecycle. \nTake ownership of your work from discovery through implementation and ensure a high level of quality and craftsmanship throughout. \nGenerate concepts and prototypes, validating solutions through customer feedback and testing as needed. \nShare work early and often to gather feedback, build alignment, and influence decisions. \nCommunicate design rationale and implementation requirements while ensuring experience quality through launch. \nContribute to team quality and the evolution of the UX practice through collaboration, constructive feedback, shared learning, and continuous improvement. \nThe TOOLS you’ll bring with you:\n3-5 years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, Product Designer, or similar role. \nBachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience. \nProficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. \nExperience contributing to discovery, problem framing, or early product planning activities. \nAbility to communicate complex ideas and design rationale through appropriate design artifacts and stakeholder discussions. \nDemonstrated ability to break down complex work, plan effectively, and manage priorities across multiple initiatives. \nWorking knowledge of design research methods, including end user interviews, concept evaluation, and usability testing. \nExperience designing iteratively, shipping digital products, and using customer feedback to improve outcomes. \nExperience applying design systems, mobile platform conventions, and responsive design principles. \nExperience using AI-assisted tools to support design workflows, exploration, or product experiences is a plus. \nPortfolio demonstrating UX thinking,
