This is an excellent opportunity for with at least one year of experience who is looking to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nJob Summary:\nSourcing & Logistics Officer is Responsible for managing procurement documentation, reviewing proforma invoices and shipping documents, coordinating import permits and bank requirements, following up with suppliers and internal departments, processing insurance and payment requests, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReceive Fresh Proforma Invoice and Check for accuracy using proforma check list.\n\nRequest revisions to the Proforma Invoice (PI) if it does not meet the requirements.\n\nOpen suspension file for all purchase documents, label, fasten and alphabetically arrange in their respective file cabinets.\n\nPrepare and submit the required undertaking documents to the bank, arrange FCY queuing, and follow up for timely approval.\n\nCoordinate with relevant government authorities to obtain the pre-import & Import release permit.\n\nCoordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve supply and delivery issues.\n\nConduct an initial review of shipping documents using the document checklist to ensure completeness and accuracy.\n\nMaintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier contracts.\n\nRequest insurance quotations from insurance companies and process insurance payments after obtaining the necessary approvals.\n\nPrepare payment requests, coordinate verification and approval, and submit the approved requests to the Finance Department for processing.\n\nVerify duty payment requests received from clearing agents for accuracy and prepare the duty payment request accordingly.\n\nPrepare and submit regular reports on procurement activities and progress.\n\nPrepare and submit the required documents to the National Bank of Ethiopia for clearance.\n\nEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.\n\nRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times.\n\nPerform other procurement-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.\n\nJob Requirements & Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\nExperience: Minimum One year or more experience in logistics, sourcing, or procurement.\nSkills & Attributes:\nStrong understanding of supply chain principles and procurement processes.\n\nProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Ethiopian Single Window (ESW) and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.\n\nGood communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressure.\n\nKnowledge of basic logistics regulations is advantageous.\n\nProactive attitude and willingness to learn.\nHow to
