This role leads the team, controls the process, solves problems, develops employees, and delivers required production results safely and accurately.\nScope and Reporting\nOwns an entire product family. Reports to the Shift Supervisor. Responsible for area-level goals, coaching, and removing obstacles while escalating major issue\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Leadership\nProvide clear directions and expectations.\nLead by example in attendance, professionalism, safety, and work ethic.\nHold employees accountable; coach when performance does not meet expectations.\nRecognize good performance, encourage teamwork, and maintain a professional environment.\n2. Production & Workflow\nMeet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals for the product family.\nAssign employees based on workload, skills, and business needs.\nMonitor workflow, remove obstacles, and maintain productivity without sacrificing quality or safety.\nEnsure work is completed according to schedule and priorities.\n3. Quality\nEnsure employees follow work instructions, drawings, procedures, and quality requirements.\nAddress quality issues immediately and prevent defects from continuing.\nWork with Quality to identify root causes and corrective actions.\nEnsure employees are properly trained before performing assigned work.\n4. Safety\nEnforce all company safety policies and procedures.\nConduct or participate in safety meetings and inspections.\nImmediately address unsafe conditions and behaviors.\nReport injuries, incidents, and near misses; ensure required PPE is used.\n5. Attendance & Timekeeping\nMonitor employee attendance and punctuality.\nEnsure timecards are properly completed and provide authorization for payroll.\nFormally address attendance issues according to company policy.\nEnsure appropriate staffing for the area.\n6. Employee Development\nIdentify training needs, build team skill depth and ensure training is timely.\nProvide feedback and performance coaching.\nHelp employees improve their skills and achieve career goals.\nWork with management/HR on performance issues when necessary.\n7. Communication\nCommunicate production priorities and changes clearly both within and across product families.\nConduct shift handoffs and document important information.\nCommunicate problems to the Shift Supervisor before they become major issues.\nMaintain open communication with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and HR.\n8. Accountability\nOwn the performance of the product family: know status, schedule attainment, quality issues, and employee support needs.\nFollow through on problems until resolved; do not simply identify issues-take action.\nConsistently demonstrate Safety + Quality + Productivity + Attendance + Teamwork + Accountability.\nWrite performance reviews considering Leads feedback, personal observations and\nQualifications\nPay Range: $78,000- $84,000\nThis position is Onsite in Fridley Minnesota\nAt Minco, we pride ourselves on our commitment to our employees.
