Automation Test Lead

We’re looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Lead who will own the automation-first approach for testing IAM platforms, identity services, and advanced workflows across Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a strategic hands-on role where you will collaborate with tech leads, Cloud Security, DevOps, and Application Engineering teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions that support enterprise-level cloud and Identity operations.

You will design and maintain automation frameworks, lead governance for testing standards, and validate event-driven systems, APIs, and orchestration engines. If you’re passionate about secure software architecture and want to work on large-scale, high-impact projects, this is the role for you.

Requirements

• Define and maintain test architecture and strategy, ensuring full requirements traceability.
• Build and manage automated test frameworks integrating AI capabilities (self-healing, intelligent reporting).
• Validate event-driven platforms, identity services, and policy-as-code setups.
• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Lead testing efforts across SIT/OAT/UAT phases, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in automation and risk-based testing.

Benefits

• Strong IAM domain expertise and experience with protocols (SCIM, REST API, LDAP, OIDC).
• 5+ years leading automation projects with Python & Pytest.
• Experience testing event-driven platforms (Pub/Sub, Kafka) and workload identities in the cloud.
• Proficiency with DevOps integration (GitHub, CI/CD) and shift-left testing practices.
• Cloud testing approach experience, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid background in policy-based testing (RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC).
• Tools: JIRA, Zephyr (mandatory).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI governance, model validation, and responsible AI principles.
• Exposure to tools like n8n, OPA/Rego, HashiCorp Vault, and GenAI integrations in Quality Engineering.
