The position requires strong collaboration across engineering, architecture, operations, and service-management teams to deliver and evolve a business-critical capability at scale.\nWhile experience with BMC Control-M or IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) is highly desirable, the key requirement is proven product ownership experience in large, complex, regulated environments.\nSounds like your kind of challenge?\nResponsibilities\nFlexible cooperation model \nHybrid work setup - remote days available depending on the client’s arrangements - 6 days a month from the office in Kraków\nCollaborative team culture - work alongside experienced professionals eager to share knowledge \nContinuous development - access to training platforms and growth opportunities \nComprehensive benefits - including Interpolska Health Care, Multisport card, Warta Insurance, and more \nHigh quality equipment - laptop and essential software provided \nRequirements\nOwn the vision, roadmap, and target outcomes for the Scheduling and Workload Automation (SWA) capability across build, run, and continuous improvement.\nManage demand intake and prioritisation, balancing feature delivery, resilience, service improvements, and technical debt.\nRepresent user and stakeholder needs from engineering, operations, and scheduling communities in product planning and decision-making.\nDefine and track measurable outcomes, including OKRs, KPIs and SLAs to demonstrate value and performance.\nTranslate requirements into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and non-functional specifications.\nDrive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, architecture, infrastructure and service management teams to deliver roadmap commitments.\nOversee platform lifecycle management, including upgrades, migrations, onboarding and integration activities.\nCollaborate with operations and service management to improve incident, problem and change management performance.\nLead initiatives to enhance automation, self-service, reliability, capacity and resilience of batch and workload environments.\nIdentify and manage dependencies and risks across enterprise platforms, applications and stakeholders.\nEnsure aligned governance with risk, security and compliance frameworks, including controls and resilience standards.\nShape and continuously improve the operating model and ways of working for managing SWA capabilities effectively.\nNote:Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process.\nBenefits\n3-7 years of professional experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, Value Stream Lead, or similar senior technology role.\nProven ownership of a technical product, platform or service in a large-scale, complex environment.\nExperience with on-premises technology platforms, preferably across Linux and mainframe environments.\nStrong understanding of product ownership principles throughout the full lifecycle - from roadmap definition to continuous improvement.\nHands-on experience managing backlogs, epics and user stories, with well-defined acceptance criteria and prioritisation of technical debt.\nAbility to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, manage capacity and dependencies to deliver agreed outcomes.\nPractical knowledge of operational processes - incident, problem and change management, monitoring, resilience and continuity.\nSolid grasp of risk, control, audit and compliance principles, gained preferably in regulated industries.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and business contexts.\nProactive, pragmatic and delivery-oriented, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.\nDesirable Experience\nFamiliarity with enterprise scheduling, workflow orchestration, and batch automation capabilities.\nHands-on experience with BMC Control-M and/or IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).\nUnderstanding of mainframe scheduling concepts - job dependencies, calendars, alerts and recovery procedures.\nKnowledge of integration patterns, APIs, file-based and event-driven interfaces.\nExperience working with Agile or Lean delivery frameworks.\nAbility to define and track OKRs, KPIs and service health metrics.\nBackground within financial services or regulated enterprise environments.\nJoining this project you’llbecome part of Mindbox - a tech-driven company where consulting, engineering, and talent meet to build meaningful digital solutions.
