The goal is to improve consistency, reduce duplication and help product teams deliver digital experiences more efficiently.\nIn this role, you will bridge the gap between Design and Engineering, ensuring the Design System meets the needs of different product teams while evolving in line with business priorities, user needs and technical requirements.\nYou will manage the Design System as a strategic product in its own right, owning its vision, roadmap, governance and adoption across the wider digital ecosystem.\nWe value empathy, self-organization, and a positive attitude. If you need to, or plan to use AI during the interview process, please be transparent with us to avoid misunderstandings that could impact your chances of securing the role or your success at Mindera.\nExpected to travel to the UK at least once or twice a month.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities:\nDrive Strategy: Drive the long-term vision, adoption and implementation of the design system across Web and App platforms.\nLead Roadmap: Manage the product roadmap and prioritise the backlog to align with core business goals and objectives.\nSync Disciplines: Coordinate design and engineering workstreams to ensure seamless delivery for our internal product teams.\nChampion Growth: Act as an advocate for the design system, raising awareness and sharing progress across the business.\nElevate Standards: Set premium customer experience design standards through high-quality, reusable components and patterns.\nSupport Accessibility: Embed accessibility guidelines and support for assistive technologies into every part of the design system.\nEnsure Compliance: Partner with App teams to guarantee technical alignment with Liquid Glass and Edge-to-Edge requirements.\nMeasure Impact: Establish productivity baselines and success metrics that ladder up to our business OKRs and online scorecard.\nDefine Governance: Support robust contribution models and governance structures as the design system evolves over time.\nBuild Community: Cultivate an active and engaged user community through regular outreach, feedback and quarterly surveys.\nWhat We're Looking For\nProven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally on a design system, component library or internal platform product.\nExperience treating a platform as a product: managing internal users as customers, adoption, and cross-team dependencies.\nStrong collaboration with design and engineering teams, with enough technical understanding to discuss theming, tokens and component architecture.\nFamiliarity with Web and mobile app development contexts (iOS/Android).\nKnowledge of accessibility standards and assistive technologies.\nExperience defining success metrics, OKRs and adoption baselines.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing without direct authority.\nFluent English (written and spoken).\nBenefits\nThe Things We Really Care About:\nHealth Insurance, because health comes first\nFlexible working hours\nOpen holidays, take the time you need for yourself\nProfit distribution for everyone\nMindera Annual Trip, Sports, and sharing groups to connect and have fun!\nTraining & conferences, create your own training plan\nChild Care vouchers\nOther Good Things:\nChoose Laptop & Peripherals that best suit your needs\nHotspot with unlimited usage (PT), for work or Netflix ;)\nWe have amazing offices in Porto, Aveiro, and Coimbra if you want to physically connect with minders.
