Our teams support over 2,000+ independent mental health providers across 7 states and virtually via Telehealth.\nWe have built the Mindful Therapy Group brand from the ground up with years of dedication to solving the complex processes of the healthcare landscape in innovative ways, creating a platform geared toward growth, and working to meet our mission of creating improved access to high quality mental healthcare.\nAbout the Role\nThis role is designed for a hands-on Business Intelligence Developer who wants to own production Power BI delivery, build scalable semantic models, write advanced DAX and SQL, and modernize analytics solutions in a Microsoft Fabric environment.\nAs the primary owner of production business intelligence implementation within the Business Analytics team, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable Power BI solutions that transform business requirements into reliable analytics products. You'll help increase delivery capacity, reduce technical debt, and modernize the organization's analytics environment through reusable semantic models, governed measures, and reliable reporting practices.\nThe ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, Power Query, and dimensional modeling, along with the ability to work across reporting, data modeling, and analytics engineering.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduction BI Development\n Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and related analytics solutions.\nTranslate business requirements, approved designs, and acceptance criteria into scalable, production-ready solutions.\nDevelop advanced DAX, Power Query transformations, security models, and reusable calculation logic.\nRecommend improvements to architecture and design when better technical approaches exist.\nSemantic Modeling & Architecture\n Design and modernize dimensional semantic models with reusable facts, dimensions, governed measures, and business-friendly metadata.\nPromote shared semantic models and reusable data products to support multiple reporting and analytics use cases.\nPartner with analytics and engineering teams on data integration, transformation, data quality, and performance optimization.\nDelivery & Production Support\n Deliver enhancements, defect resolution, new analytics products, and technical debt remediation from the development backlog.\nTroubleshoot and resolve data, security, refresh, performance, and reporting issues.\nEstablish and maintain testing, reconciliation, deployment, release, and rollback practices to ensure reliable delivery.\nCollaboration & Documentation\n Partner with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to balance user needs, technical requirements, and scalable solution design.\nDocument data lineage, calculations, security, dependencies, support procedures, and release notes.\nPerform technical peer reviews and help develop reusable standards, patterns, and best practices.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n 5+ years of business intelligence development experience with substantial Power BI production ownership.\nAdvanced expertise in DAX, Power Query, SQL, dimensional modeling, and semantic model design.\nExperience designing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting production reports, dashboards, and semantic models.\nExperience troubleshooting performance, data quality, security, and deployment issues.\nExperience modernizing legacy BI solutions and building scalable, reusable data models that support multiple reports and audiences.\nAbility to deliver high-quality solutions while partnering effectively with product, design, analytics engineering, and business stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including warehouses, lakehouses, pipelines, Direct Lake, SQL analytics endpoints, and deployment pipelines.\nExperience with Git, CI/CD practices, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit, or semantic model automation.\nFamiliarity with Power BI development lifecycle management, source control, and release management best practices.\nExperience in healthcare, behavioral health, finance, or another regulated industry.\nMicrosoft Power BI, Fabric, or related Microsoft data platform certification.\nBenefits\nCompensation and Benefits\n75% employer covered Health, Dental & Vision benefits plan\n401(k) savings plan with employer matching upon eligibility\n8 paid holidays\n15 PTO days accrued annually\nProfessional and career development opportunities\nCompensation evaluated with opportunities for advancement\n\nJob Type: Full-time, M-F (hybrid options available)\nLocation: Mountlake Terrace, Wa\nSalary: $100,000-120,000k per year\nWe are an equal opportunity employer with a progressive workplace based on teamwork, integrity, and customer service.
