A PhD is preferred but not required.\nSeveral years of hands-on industry or research CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.\nSolid verification and validation practice: mesh-independence studies, and validation against experiment or benchmarks.\nComfortable with Python and GitHub.\nEnglish at B2 level or above.\nNice to have: aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery background; multiphase or particle-laden flow experience.\nProject time expectations\nFor this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10-20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.\nCompensation\nOn this project, contributors can earn up to $69 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution.\nCompensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
