Join us if you want to move beyond digital intelligence and put intelligence into motion.\nAbout the team and the role:\nAt Mind Robotics, we're building generalized physical AI - robotic systems capable of dexterous, adaptive, and reasoning-intensive work in real-world industrial environments. Integration is where it all comes together: the moment mechanical, electrical, firmware, controls, and software stop being separate subsystems and have to behave as one robot.\nWe're looking for a System Integration Engineer to own bring-up and debug across the robot - from first power-on of a new subsystem to the hard interactions that only surface when everything is running together. You'll be on the bench as much as at a keyboard, working at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, firmware, controls, and software to get every build from first prototype to a robot that works reliably in the field.\nResponsibilities:\nLead bring-up of new subsystems and full-robot builds and assist with validation, coordinating across electrical, mechanical, firmware, controls, and software teams\n\nDebug hardware-software interactions hands-on during design, launch, and field deployment - pulling and analyzing logs and adding debug instrumentation/tracing to firmware and software to isolate root cause\n\nLead calibration and tuning efforts to hit subsystem and robot-level performance targets\n\nPrototype and characterize components and full systems; build early prototypes to de-risk new technologies before committing to production architecture\n\nExecute system-level test plans from bench testing through field deployment, and turn real-world failures into repeatable test cases\n\nWrite scripts and tooling to improve bring-up, validation, and triage efficiency\n\nInstrument systems and analyze noisy hardware data; communicate findings clearly across mechanical, electrical, and software teams\n\nSurface nth-order impacts of electrical, software, or process changes before they become problems\n\nFeed interface and requirements feedback from the bench back to the Systems Engineering team, and provide integration data and open-issue status for readiness reviews\n\nRequirements:\nDegree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience\n\n2+ years in systems integration, systems engineering, or a cross-disciplinary hardware role involving complex electromechanical or robotic products\n\nStrong hardware and software fundamentals - able to bridge electrical schematics, embedded communication protocols, and firmware architecture; comfortable with a scope and multimeter during bring-up\n\nHands-on experience debugging complex subsystems involving networked microprocessors, embedded Linux, and software-controlled electromechanical devices - comfortable reading and modifying C/C++ firmware/software yourself to add debug logging, instrument code paths, and iterate on a fix, not just reading code to hand off to firmware engineers\n\nAble to write scripts or tooling to improve bring-up and validation efficiency\n\nProficient in data analysis and visualization -
