You will own development across the full lifecycle-architecture, build, testing, deployment, and support-while collaborating with designers, architects, and stakeholders to bring polished product experiences to life.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Custom App Development: Build high-quality applications using SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP CAP (Node.js or Java), SAP RAP, and SAP Build tools.\n\nFull-Stack Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery-from technical design and development to testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.\n\n UX-Centric Engineering: Collaborate with design teams (AppHaus and internal UX) to convert wireframes, prototypes, and user insights into intuitive applications.\n\nCloud-Native Architecture: Implement scalable, secure, modular designs leveraging BTP services such as Destinations, XSUAA, Event Mesh, and API Management.\n\nIntegration: Build application integrations with S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, external APIs, and other enterprise systems.\n\nReusable Components: Create shared UI components, libraries, and reusable CAP/RAP modules that streamline future development.\n\nQuality & Standards: Ensure best practices around performance, accessibility, error handling, security, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nTroubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve issues across front-end, back-end, and integration layers.\n\nCollaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, developers, and architects to ensure alignment and high-quality outcomes.\n\nTravel: Ability to travel as needed up to 20-25%.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nExperience: 5-8+ years of SAP development with at least 2-3+ years building applications on SAP BTP.\n\nFront-End Expertise: Advanced SAP Fiori/UI5 development (custom controls, MVC, flexible programming model). \nJavaScript/TypeScript mastery and modern UI design patterns. \n\nBack-End Expertise: Hands-on SAP CAP (Node.js or Java) application development \nExperience with SAP RAP, CDS views, OData V2/V4 services \n\nArchitecture & Cloud Skills:Experience designing secure, scalable cloud-native solutions \nFamiliarity with BTP services: XSUAA, Destinations, Connectivity, API Management, Event Mesh \n\nTechnical Proficiency: Git, CI/CD, unit testing, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and cloud deployment workflows.\n\nConsulting Competencies: Strong communication and ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.\n\n UX Mindset: Proven ability to work from design artifacts and deliver polished, intuitive user experiences.\n\nNice to Have Qualifications\n\nExperience with SAP Build Apps or Build Work Zone.\n\nMobile development experience (MDK, Build Apps mobile, or hybrid).\n\nCAP testing frameworks, multitenant apps, or advanced security patterns.\n\nExposure to AI-assisted development patterns or generative AI copilots on BTP.\n\nAbout Mindset\n\nMindset Consulting merges SAP expertise with human-centered design to help enterprises create software that their employees love to use.
