As a key member of the finance team, the Controller will serve as a strategic finance business partner, supporting operational and commercial decision-making with strong analytical insight. The role requires ownership of accounting, reporting, and financial controls, ensuring all activities are executed in full compliance with local regulations and company policies. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a hands-on approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment while driving continuous improvement.\nResponsibilities\nIn general, the Controller is responsible for managing the Finance activities of Mindspace in Israel market, supporting overall business objectives and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.\nKey responsibilities:\nManage Day to Day Finance Operations Activities:\nSupervise the Invoicing and Collection Processes. Ensure invoicing, revenue recognition and cash collection is done on time and resolve complicated billing/debt collection issues.\nSupervise Account Payable processes, ensure supplier payments/inquiries are promptly executed aligned with Mindspace’s Payment Policy\nBudgeting and Forecasting\nDevelop Budgets: Lead the budgeting process for each market, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.\nPrepare financial forecasts and projections as needed\nVariance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets, and provide recommendations for improvements.\nCash Flow Management\nMonitor Cash Flow: Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs across markets.\nOptimize Working Capital: Implement strategies to optimize working capital and manage accounts receivable and payable effectively.\nPrepare and Review Financial Statements: \nEnsure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements for all markets. Including preparation of quarterly Reporting Package and related working paper according to IFRS.\nMonitor and analyze financial performance metrics across different markets to provide actionable insights.\nEngage with Stakeholders: \nAnalyze, report and communicate financial performance, issues, and strategies with Internal and external stakeholders and work closely with other departments to align financial activities with business objectives.\nAct as a Finance Business Partner to your markets providing financial data and insight to utilize data driven decision making\nCompliance and Reporting: \nEnsure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations, in particular compliance with IFRS 16.\nTeam Leadership and Development\nSupervise and mentor local bookkeepers, ensuring effective performance and development.\n Systems and Processes\nIdentify and implement process improvements and tools to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.\nRequirements\nExperience & Minimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm, with a minimum of 2 years of experience after internship. Mandatory\nPrevious experience being an assistant controller/controller for an International entity.
