The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, logistics, maintenance, training, and program management teams to produce clear, accurate, and compliant technical publications that support operation, maintenance, sustainment, and training activities.\nThe role requires strong technical writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly documentation for operators, maintainers, and other stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Documentation Development\nDevelop, edit, and maintain technical publications including: \nOperation Manuals\nMaintenance Manuals\nRepair Procedures\nIllustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC)\nTechnical Handbooks\nLogistics Support Analysis (LSA) Reports\nTraining Materials\nInstallation and Configuration Guides\nTechnical Bulletins and Service Instructions\n\nIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS)\nSupport Integrated Logistics Support activities throughout system development and sustainment phases.\nReview engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material (BOMs), maintenance concepts, and design documentation to create accurate logistics documentation.\nEnsure technical publications align with supportability, maintainability, reliability, and operational requirements.\nStakeholder Collaboration\nInterface with systems engineers, hardware engineers, software developers, logisticians, trainers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical information.\nParticipate in design reviews, technical reviews, and logistics supportability reviews.\nCoordinate document reviews, technical approvals, and baseline releases.\nDocumentation Management\nMaintain document configurations and revisions in accordance with organizational quality management and configuration management processes.\nEnsure documentation complies with applicable industry, military, defense, aerospace, or customer standards.\nManage document libraries, templates, publication records, and version-control systems.\nQuality Assurance\nVerify technical accuracy, completeness, consistency, formatting, and traceability of documentation.\nConduct document validation and verification activities with engineering teams and end users.\nSupport audits and customer reviews relating to technical publications and logistics documentation.\nRequirements\nEducation\nDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in: \nEngineering\nTechnical Communications\nInformation Systems\nAerospace Engineering\nMechanical Engineering\nElectrical Engineering\nLogistics Engineering\nOr related disciplines\n\nExperience\n3 to 8 years of experience in technical writing, technical publications, logistics support, or engineering documentation.\nExperience supporting defense, aerospace, military, transportation, manufacturing, or complex systems programs is advantageous.\nExperience preparing maintenance manuals, operational manuals, or logistics support documentation is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nExcellent technical writing and editing skills.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, system architectures, and technical specifications.\nFamiliarity with: \nIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS)\nLogistics Support Analysis (LSA)\nReliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM)\nConfiguration Management (CM)\n\nTools Knowledge\nExperience with one or more of the following:\nMicrosoft Office Suite\nAdobe Acrobat Professional\nMicrosoft Visio\nMadCap Flare\nArbortext Editor\nAdobe FrameMaker\nXML/SGML authoring tools\nContent Management Systems (CMS)\nProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems\nPreferred Knowledge\nS1000D technical publication standards.\nASD/AIA specifications.\nDefence, military, aerospace, maritime, or unmanned systems documentation standards.\nTechnical publication development lifecycle and configuration control processes.\nCompetencies\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nMeticulous attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and
