The role involves developing high-performance HMI applications, passenger display systems, operator interfaces, CCTV monitoring solutions, and diagnostic tools using modern C++ and the Qt framework.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in C++, Qt, QML, and Qt Widgets, along with a good understanding of distributed software architectures and system integration.\nKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Passenger Information System (PIS) software using C++ and Qt Framework.\n\nDevelop rich and responsive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications using QML and Qt Widgets.\n\nDevelop software applications for:\nPassenger information displays\n\nRoute map and destination displays\n\nCCTV monitoring systems\n\nOperator control interfaces\n\nSystem diagnostic and monitoring tools\n\nDesign and implement scalable, modular, and maintainable software architectures for complex distributed systems.\n\nDevelop, debug, optimize, and maintain software throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nSupport software integration, system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.\n\nAnalyze technical issues and provide effective solutions during development and system deployment.\n\nCollaborate closely with System Engineering, Hardware, Verification & Validation, and other cross-functional teams.\n\nParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation activities.\n\nEnsure software development follows defined coding standards, quality processes, and engineering best practices.\n\nRequired Technical SkillsStrong programming experience in C++.\n\nHands-on experience with Qt Framework.\n\nStrong experience in QML and Qt Widgets for HMI development.\n\nGood understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.\n\nExperience developing applications for distributed or embedded systems.\n\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills.\n\nExperience with software integration, testing, and commissioning.\n\nFamiliarity with Linux/Windows-based development environments.\n\nExperience with Git or other version-control systems.\n\nPreferred / Good-to-Have SkillsExperience in railway, transportation, automotive, industrial automation, or embedded systems.\n\nExperience with Passenger Information Systems (PIS) or related railway applications.\n\nKnowledge of CCTV/video monitoring systems.\n\nExperience developing real-time or safety-/mission-critical applications.\n\nKnowledge of communication protocols and distributed systems.\n\nExposure to CI/CD, automated testing, and software quality tools.\n\nFamiliarity with railway standards such as EN 50128 / EN 50155 would be an advantage.\n\nSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.\n\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively.\n\nStrong ownership and commitment to software quality.\n\nWillingness to support integration, testing, and commissioning activities when required.\n\nEducation & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n\nRelevant professional experience in C++ / Qt application development, preferably within embedded, transportation,
