MINDWEISS is a Danish consultancy with two business areas, recruitment and development. It recruits finance, tax and technology specialists for client companies, for example tax managers and finance directors at advisory firms. The company is based in Denmark.

On behalf of KINRADEN, MINDWEISS is seeking a commercially minded and hands-on Finance Director to play a key role in the company's next phase of international growth. With responsibility for strengthening financial management and developing a scalable finance function, you will have significant influence on strategic decisions and the financial foundation supporting KINRADEN's ambitious retail expansion.

As Finance Director, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the wider management team, acting as a trusted financial and strategic sparring partner. You will take full ownership of the finance function, balancing strategic priorities with operational responsibilities while ensuring that financial insights actively support commercial decisions and future investments.

A central part of your responsibility will be to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management, ensuring reliable financial oversight and clear insights into business performanceacross the organisation and its growing retail operations. You will support strategic and commercial decision-making through financial analysis, business cases and scenario planning, including evaluating the financial implications of new stores, markets and investments.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for cash flow and liquidity management, financial controls and the preparation of relevant management and Board reporting, ensuring transparency and a clear overview of the company's financial position.

You will also oversee the ongoing financial operations, including monthly closing, annual accounts, audits, tax, VAT and financial compliance. As KINRADEN continues to expand internationally, you will play a key role in developing scalable financial processes, systems and governance to support increasing business complexity and long-term growth.

Strong financial expertise and commercial understanding

To succeed in this role, you bring solid experience from a senior finance position and strong expertise in financial accounting, controlling, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. Your ability to combine financial expertise with commercial understanding enables you to support strategic decisions and evaluate business opportunities.

We expect you to have a relevant academic degree in finance, accounting or economics, ideally complemented by experience from an international business with multiple legal entities. A background in retail, consumer goods or luxury would be an advantage, although specific industry experience is not essential. Furthermore, you are fluent in English, have excellent Microsoft Office skills and are able to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively.

A grounded and collaborative finance leader

On a personal level, you are grounded, confident and approachable, with the professional maturity to build trust through your expertise and sound judgement. You take ownership naturally and work independently, while maintaining a collaborative and down-to-earth approach. To thrive in this role, it is essential that you are comfortable navigating changing priorities and can move seamlessly between strategic discussions and hands-on execution. Furthermore, your flexibility and pragmatic mindset enable you to contribute positively to KINRADEN's informal and creative culture.

About KINRADEN

Founded in 2014 by Sarah Emilie Müllertz, KINRADEN is a modern luxury brand shaped by influences ranging from Japanese design traditions to Danish architecture. With a deep commitment to sustainability, the brand actively supports two of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals: ensuring fair and dignified employment practices (Goal 8), and advocating for responsible production and consumption (Goal 12).

KINRADEN operates with a flat organizational structure and a work culture built on trust, responsibility, and a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere. The company embraces a distinctly Danish way of working-informal, friendly, and rooted in strong relationships. Collaboration is key, fostering a close-knit community where people support one another and value inclusivity.
