This role is critical to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, with a strong focus on inventory accounting, transfer pricing related to R&D activities, and US GAAP compliance.\nThe ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, the ability to work in a fast-paced, post spin-off environment, and the capacity to contribute to the buildout of processes and controls for a newly independent publicly listed company.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFinancial Reporting & Analysis\nPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP\nPerform in-depth analysis of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual close deliverables, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis\nPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with Local GAAP\nIdentify and communicate financial risks, trends, and opportunities to management\nInventory Accounting\nOversee inventory accounting processes, including standard costing, variances, reserves, and inventory valuation\nPerform inventory reconciliations and ensure accurate reflection in the financial statements\nCollaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure proper accounting treatment for inventory movements, write-offs, and adjustments\nSupport cycle count and physical inventory processes from an accounting perspective\nTransfer Pricing - R&D\nSupport the accounting and documentation of intercompany transactions related to R&D activities\nEnsure proper recording and allocation of R&D costs in compliance with transfer pricing policies\nCollaborate with Tax, Legal, and R&D Finance to ensure alignment between transfer pricing documentation and financial records\nAssist in the preparation of intercompany agreements and related financial schedules\nSystems & Process Improvement\nSupport the transition to SAP S/4HANA, including data migration, testing, and process design from a financial accounting perspective\nContribute to the design and implementation of accounting processes, controls, and workflows in a post-spin-off environment\nIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvement across the accounting function\nStakeholder Collaboration\nPartner closely with cross-functional teams including Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Supply Chain, R&D Finance, and Legal\nServe as a key point of contact for external auditors on areas of responsibility\nSupport ad hoc projects and analysis as required by leadership\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\n7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or complex corporate environment.\nStrong hands-on experience with US GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles to complex business transactions.\nProven experience in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate findings into actionable business insights.\nProficiency in SAP ERP, including SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, data analysis, and financial modeling.\nFamiliarity with SOX compliance requirements and internal controls.\nFluent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive CPA/CA certification in Israel.\nExperience working for a publicly listed company, preferably one listed on a US stock exchange.\nDemonstrated experience in inventory accounting, ideally within a manufacturing, MedTech, or other regulated environment.\nWorking knowledge of transfer pricing principles, particularly in relation to intercompany R&D transactions.\nExperience with corporate spin-offs, carve-outs, divestitures, or other major business transformations.\nExperience supporting or participating in SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation projects.\nPrevious experience in the medical device, MedTech, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing industry.\nExperience working with Big Four or other large external audit firms.\nExperience with financial reporting and analytics tools, such as Power BI, OneStream, or similar platforms.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nBenefits & Compensation\nMiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package\nAt MiniMed, we put people first.
