Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.\nThis position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed’s Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:\nOversee and execute end-to-end P2P activities, including invoice verification, posting, payment runs, and vendor account reconciliations in SAP.\nCoordinate and collaborate with the BPO team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and resolution of exceptions.\nReview and resolve complex invoice exceptions, discrepancies, and blocked invoices escalated by the BPO partner.\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local statutory requirements.\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by preparing accruals, reconciliations, and reports related to accounts payable.\nLiaise with procurement, business units, vendors, and the BPO team to resolve queries and ensure smooth transaction flow.\nMonitor KPIs and SLAs for both in-house and BPO teams, identify process gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the P2P function.\nAssist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.\nMentor and provide guidance to junior team members within the P2P team.\nMaintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures, including those related to BPO activities.\nRequired Knowledge and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nMinimum 5-7 years’ experience in accounts payable or procure to pay, preferably in a shared service center environment.\nStrong working knowledge of SAP\nSolid understanding of accounting principles and P2P processes.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.\nProblem-solving and escalation handling.\nEnglish proficiency, Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nBenefits & Compensation\nMiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package\nAt MiniMed, we put people first.
