About the Role

We are seeking a Program Manager, Digital Patient Experience & Therapy Enablement to join the Global Marketing & Communications team, reporting to the Director of Customer Success. This role is responsible for creating seamless digital experiences and support programs that help patients enroll in therapy, stay engaged, manage resupply and refill needs, and confidently navigate their diabetes therapy journey.

This leader will drive initiatives across patient experience, digital platforms, eCommerce, onboarding, retention, and support services. Success in this role requires strong program leadership, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver simple, connected, and patient-centered experiences throughout the therapy lifecycle.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead programs that enhance the patient experience across enrollment, onboarding, retention, resupply, refill, and therapy support, driving engagement and long-term success.

  • Define and prioritize patient, market, and business requirements that inform digital, e-commerce, and therapy support strategies, roadmaps, and product development efforts.

  • Partner with product, technical, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end patient experiences that support growth, retention, and competitive differentiation.

  • Identify unmet customer needs and emerging business opportunities, helping move ideas from concept through market-facing execution.

  • Lead website, digital experience, and e-commerce initiatives that improve patient access, engagement, retention, and overall customer satisfaction.

  • Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Field Sales, Clinical, Inside Sales, Resupply, and Customer Tech Support to create seamless patient journeys and improve key performance metrics, including CSAT, retention, and ROI.

  • Coordinate global Customer Success marketing programs, including patient communications, campaigns, and promotional activities, while optimizing performance and recommending improvements.

  • Manage programs through planning, execution, budgeting, and delivery, leveraging matrixed teams to achieve business objectives.

  • Use journey analytics, performance data, service trends, and voice-of-customer insights to identify opportunities, measure impact, and guide continuous improvement.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead digital patient experiences across web, app, portal, and eCommerce channels to simplify therapy discovery, enrollment, ordering, and support.

  • Optimize patient journeys, content, workflows, and conversion pathways to improve therapy adoption, engagement, and retention.

  • Drive enrollment and onboarding programs that help patients understand next steps and transition smoothly into therapy.

  • Develop retention, resupply, and refill strategies that increase participation, strengthen loyalty, and improve long term therapy adherence.

  • Partner with Customer Support and Clinical teams to enhance digital self-service, troubleshooting, and therapy support experiences.

  • Lead cross-functional programs across Marketing, Product, Sales, Clinical, Service, and R&D, managing execution, milestones, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Leverage patient insights, research, and performance analytics to identify opportunities, optimize programs, and improve customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

Must Have Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in marketing program management, patient experience, digital initiatives, or healthcare-related programs

OR

Advanced Degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in marketing program management, patient experience, digital initiatives, or healthcare-related programs

Nice to Have:

  • Experience leading complex cross-functional programs in a matrixed environment, from strategy through execution.

  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys, patient experience, and engagement models that drive therapy adoption, retention, and loyalty.

  • Experience with therapy onboarding, patient support, refill/resupply, subscription, or continuity-based programs.

  • Ability to align marketing, product, commercial, clinical, and service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

  • Proven program and project management skills, including prioritization, stakeholder management, and execution across multiple initiatives.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics, customer insights, and performance metrics to optimize programs and inform business decisions.

  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, medtech, diabetes, or another regulated environment preferred; demonstrated success improving customer engagement, digital experiences, retention, or operational effectiveness.

  • A strong degree of curiosity to challenge established processes and assumptions.

  • Demonstrated success using AI tools to quickly analyze situations, improve collaboration, multiply impact, and drive positive outcomes.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$109,000.00 - $185,000.00

For roleslocatedin California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $121,000.00- $205,000.00USD.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits informationpertainssolely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
