We are looking for a Sr Factory Systems Engineer who is ready to lead the charge. Ready to engineer the future?\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.\nDevelops and applies computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems.\nAssessing architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software.\nDefines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters.\nDevelops routines and utility programs.\nPrepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval.\nMay specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.\nKey Responsibilities\nIIoT Architecture & Integrations:\nDesign and implement scalable IIoT architectures for manufacturing environments.\nIntegrate sensors, PLCs, SCADA systems, and edge devices with MES and ERP platforms.\nDevelop and maintain secure data pipelines from shop floor to cloud/enterprise systems.\nDevice & Network Management:\nSelect and configure industrial sensors, gateways, and communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus).\nManage device provisioning, firmware updates, and lifecycle management.\nEnsure high availability and reliability of IIoT infrastructure.\nData Engineering & Analytics:\nCollaborate with data engineers to structure and normalize IIoT data for analytics. (guidance to engineers)\nEnable real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and process optimization.\nSupport digital twin and machine learning initiatives with clean, contextualized data.\nCompliance & Validation:\nEnsure IIoT systems meet regulatory requirements for data integrity, traceability, and cybersecurity.\nParticipate in Computer System Validation (CSV) and risk assessments.\nMaintain documentation for audits and inspections.\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nWork closely with Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and Engineering teams.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. Support change management and training initiatives.\nProvide training and support to front-line workers on the use of digital tools and technologies.\nMonitor the performance and usage of digital tools, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.\nCollect and analyze data from digital tools to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nStay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies.\nMust Have: Minimum Requirements\nTo be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.\nRequires Bachelor’s Engineer Degree\nRequires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.\nNice to Have:\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
