You'llcollaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Quality Engineersand fellow developers to deliver secure, high-quality software that serves thousands of customers worldwide.\nYou'llhave the opportunity to work on both greenfield development and the modernisation of existing applications, helping to transform our accounting platform through cloud technologies, event-driven architectureand AI-powered capabilities.\nWhat you'lldo\nDesign, develop and maintaincloud-native .NET services and APIs for our Unified Accounting Service.\n\nModernise legacy .NET applications into scalable, event-driven services and microservice architectures.\n\nWork daily with AI coding assistants and agentic development tools, reviewing AI-generated code and maintaininghigh engineering standards.\n\nCollaborate with Product, Architecture and UX teams to deliver innovative accounting solutions.\n\nIntegrate AI, machine learningand retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities into customer-facing features.\n\nDevelop secure, scalableand maintainable software using modern engineering practices.\n\nContribute to sprint planning, estimationand Agile ceremonies.\n\nSupport continuous improvement through automation, testingand CI/CD best practices.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and help maintainengineering quality across the team.\n\nWhat You Bring\n6+ years' experience developing commercial software applications.\n\nStrong experience with C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.\n\nExperience designing and developing REST APIs and service-oriented or microservice architectures.\n\nStrong SQL Server and relational database experience.\n\nExperience with modern front-end technologies such as Blazor, React or Vue.\n\nExperience building and deploying cloud-native applications, ideally in Microsoft Azure (AWS experience also valuable).\n\nWorking knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nExperience working within Agile software development teams.\n\nExperience using AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding platforms.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to software development.\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.\n\nNice to have\nExperience modernising legacy .NET applications.\n\nExperience within accounting, fintechor payments platforms.\n\nKnowledge of LLMs, RAG architectures or AI-powered application development.\n\nExperience with Apache Kafka, GraphQLor event-driven systems.\n\nKnowledge of Playwright or automated testing frameworks.\n\nUnderstanding of GDPR, PCI or other security and compliance
