With more than 250,000 users, 30,000 organizations, and 90% of the Fortune 100 trusting Minitab, you'll have the opportunity to make a measurable impact while growing your career in a collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused environment where your ideas matter.\nIn this role, you will:\nEngage early in requirements and development to improve clarity, identify risks, and champion testability.\nLead holistic test strategies across multiple components or integrations, including tests that require broad system understanding and cross-functional coordination.\nUse exploratory and scenario-based testing, customer feedback, and product usage data to identify coverage gaps and evaluate real-world usage.\nGuide risk-based decisions and help prioritize bug fixes and maintenance work.\nImprove test reliability and reduce maintenance overhead. Identify where automation adds value, reduce manual effort, and address outdated or flaky tests that cause CI delays.\nCoordinate release readiness across teams, lead risk assessments, and ensure high-risk areas receive additional scrutiny.\nAnalyze quality signals from requirements through post-release, including logs, dashboards, and observability platforms, to identify anomalies, regressions, and patterns of user friction.\nPartner with developers to investigate root causes and define monitoring alerts that can catch future regressions.\nIdentify usage data needed for new features or changes and advocate for telemetry early enough to support testing and reporting before production.\nCoach others on test design and coverage, facilitate cross-functional planning, and support debriefs and retrospectives as needed.\nThe Candidate\nThe role calls for someone who:\nCommunicates effectively and adapts communication to different audiences.\nLearns through experimentation and uses successes and failures to build understanding.\nCollaborates with others to meet shared objectives.\nMakes sound, timely decisions.\nUses feedback and reflection to understand personal strengths and weaknesses.\nTakes on opportunities and challenges with urgency, energy, and enthusiasm.\nWhat You'll Bring\n5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, testing, or software development with a strong focus on quality.\nA bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.\nTechnological proficiency and strong data literacy.\nProven ability to lead complex testing initiatives and establish best practices.\nExpertise in designing and executing holistic test strategies, including exploratory and automated approaches.\nAbility to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.\nThis is an onsite position at our State College, PA headquarters and candidates must be within commutable distance of State College, PA for consideration.
