The Common Area Cleaner involves servicing, cleaning, and maintaining shared guest areas throughout the property.\nKey Responsibilities Include:\nCleaning and maintaining all common guest areas to the highest standards, ensuring all areas are always hygienic and visually appealing.\nCollaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.\nAdhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.\nUsing specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.\nBuilding strong, professional relationships with team members and guests to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.\nShift Details (subject to change):\nRotating roster across Monday to Sunday\nShifts starting between 8:00 am and 9.00am\nPlease note, this is a physically demanding role requiring regular heavy lifting, manual handling of bins and equipment, and movement of bulky items.\n Successful candidates will have:\nPrevious experience in a resort or hotel environment is highly regarded.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nGood physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.\nProfessional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.\nStrong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.\nA positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.\nAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.\n At Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
