You’ll feel valued as part of a tight-knit team, united in delivering exceptional guest experiences and thriving in a company dedicated to fostering an outstanding workplace culture.\n AVANI Cypress Lakes Resorts and AVANI WELL are looking for skilled and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on casual basis.\nThis role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.\nKey Responsibilities Include:\nPrepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.\n\nCook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.\n\nEnsure excellent presentation of meals before service.\n\nMaintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.\n\nKeep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.\n\nSupport team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.\n\nShift Details (subject to change):\nRotating roster across Monday to Sunday\n\nShifts scheduled across breakfast and dinner periods\n\nImmediate start available\n\nH ourly Rates (excluding superannuation):\nMonday - Friday: $27.97 per hour\nSaturday: $34.96 per hour\nSunday: $41.96 per hour\n To be successful in this role you will have:\nMinimum 12 months experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.\n\nKnowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.\n\nGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.\n\nPositive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.\n\nFlexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.\n\n At Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
