You’ll feel valued as part of a tight-knit team, united in delivering exceptional guest experiences and thriving in a company dedicated to fostering an outstanding workplace culture.\n Avani Queenstown Hotel are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.\nAs a valued team member, you will oversee and support the food & beverage team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences by:\nServing food and beverages to guests in a within the hotel and restaurant, ensuring professional and attentive service.\nLeads, motivates, and coaches the Food & Beverage team to deliver consistent service standards.\nMonitors service quality and ensuring consistency across all shifts and service periods.\nManages guest enquiries and resolves service issues promptly and professionally.\nSupports inventory management, stock control, and day-to-day Food & Beverage operations.\nWorks closely with management to maintain high-quality service and efficient daily operations.\nShift Details (subject to change):\nBreakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts\nRotating roster across Monday through Sunday\nSplit shifts may be required on some days\nMinimum hours: 30 hours per week\n$29 - $32NZD per hour (depending on experience)\n To be successful in this role, you will have:\nA minimum of 1 year of directly relevant hands-on experience in a food and beverage or restaurant supervision environment\nSolid understanding of alcohol (preferred but not essential)\nProven supervisory or leadership experience in a food and beverage environment\nStrong understanding of hospitality operations and high-quality service delivery\nExcellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills\nProfessional presentation and the ability to lead by example\nReliability and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment\nFlexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays\nIf you're enthusiastic, service-focused, and passionate about hospitality, we’d love to welcome you to our team.\n At Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
