The role ensures accurate inventory control proper documentation and timely availability of materials to support hotel operations while maintaining cost control and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nReceiving & Inspection\nReceive all goods delivered to the hotel according to purchase orders and delivery schedules\nVerify quantity quality specifications and pricing against purchase orders and delivery notes\nInspect items for damage expiration dates and compliance with hotel quality standards\nReport discrepancies shortages damages or incorrect deliveries to Purchasing / Finance\nStorekeeping & Inventory Control\nMaintain accurate records of receipts issues and stock balances\nStore items appropriately according to category (food beverage housekeeping engineering etc.)\nEnsure FIFO (FirstIn FirstOut) practices are followed especially for perishable items\nConduct regular physical stock counts and assist with monthend inventory\nMonitor stock levels and inform management of slowmoving or lowstock items\nIssuing & Documentation\nIssue approved stock items to departments against proper requisitions\nMaintain organized store areas ensuring cleanliness and easy access\nEnsure all receiving and issuing documents are completed and filed correctly\nSupport audits by providing accurate records and documentation\nHealth Safety & Compliance\nFollow hotel policies HACCP standards and health & safety regulations\nMaintain secure storage areas and control access to stores\nEnsure proper handling and storage of hazardous or cleaning materials\nCoordination & Support\nCoordinate with Purchasing Finance and operational departments\nSupport cost control initiatives and reduce wastage\nCarry out any other reasonable duties assigned by management\n\nQualifications: \nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n12 years experience as a Storekeeper and/or Receiving Clerk in a hotel environment\nUAE hospitality experience is ideal\nBasic knowledge of inventory control receiving procedures and FIFO\nFamiliarity with MS Excel and inventory or hotel systems\nGood attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to work independently and handle physical stock movement\nBasic communication skills in English\n\nAdditional Information: \nWhy Join Us\nMinor Hotels offers unparalleled opportunities to grow your career in the hospitality industry.
