For more information, visit mint.ai.\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are looking for a skilled API Developer to collaborate with us on a consultancy basis.\n\nIn this role, you will craft and maintain the backbone of software interactions.\n\nThis is a consultancy engagement, not an employment contract. The selected consultant will work independently, bringing their specialized knowledge and experience to our projects.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelopment of components and applications in Python / FastAPI / Django;\n\nMaintenance of existing applications;\n\nTasks estimation;\n\nWriting unit tests;\n\nWriting technical documentation and reports;\n\nThis role will be a great fit if you have:\n\n3+ years of experience with Python;\n\nExperience with Django;\n\nExperience with FastAPI;\n\nExperience with AsyncIO;\n\nExperience with Celery;\n\nKnowledge of Kafka;\n\nKnowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;\n\nKnowledge of Docker;\n\nUnderstanding of the HTTP protocol and RESTful APIs;\n\nCommand of Linux/UNIX environment (shell, scripting, tools);\n\nPassione for Testing (Unit and Integration Testing);\n\nGood English proficiency\n\nIdeally, you'll also have:\n\nExperience with the DDD approach and Hexagonal Architecture;\n\nExperience with microservices;\n\nExperience with integrating third-party services;\n\nKnowledge of Go/Scala/JS\n\nInterview Process\n\nCandidates can expect the following steps in our interview process:\n\nHR Video Interview (30 minutes): A virtual interview with HR to provide an overview of the company and the role, as well as to gain insight into your experience and background.\n\nTechnical Interview with Tech team (1 hour): A virtual interview with the API Developer Team Lead and/or other Team members, focused on your technical expertise, past experience, and problem-solving approach.\n\nOffer: after completing the interview process, successful candidates will receive an offer.\n\nTypical base salary pay range:\n\nMINT is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
