This role goes beyond\n\nwriting code—you'll be setting standards, making architectural decisions, mentoring team members, and\n\ndriving technical innovation across the organization.\n\nWho are your stakeholders\n\nYou'll Work Closely With\n\nData Engineering Team members along with Principal engineers and Data Architects\nProduct Managers and Product Leads across global business units\nEngineering managers and cross-team leads (DevOps, Data Science, Analytics)\nInternal data consumers like Analysts, Business Intelligence, and ML teams\nPlatform teams responsible for cost optimization and infrastructure scalability\n\nWhat you'll bring\n\n6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with 2+ years in a technical or team\n\nleadership role\n\nStrong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, distributed computing, and modern\n\ndata platforms\n\nProficiency with big data ecosystems like Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Presto, and Delta\n\nLake\n\nStrong coding skills in Python, Scala or Java, and a solid understanding of software\n\nengineering principles\n\nExpertise in SQL/NoSQL, data & delta lakes, and cloud-native services (preferably AWS\n\nor GCP)\n\nProven track record in building production-grade ETL pipelines and event-driven systems\nExperience leading POCs, evaluating tools, and setting engineering best practices across\n\nteams\n\nFamiliarity with DataOps, DevOps and CI/CD, including tools for monitoring, alerting,\n\nand observability\n\nA passion for mentoring and developing engineers, and a love for collaborative problem-\n\nsolving\n\nWe've highlighted some key skills, experience and requirements for this role.
