Tax Manager (Real Estate)

We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager (Real Estate) to join our dynamic finance team. This role focuses on managing all tax matters related to our real estate development projects, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, and optimizing tax strategies to support our business objectives.

The successful candidate will have deep expertise in UAE corporate tax, VAT, and real estate-specific tax regulations. You will work closely with project teams, legal advisors, and external tax consultants to provide comprehensive tax guidance and manage tax risks across our real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all tax compliance requirements related to real estate development and construction projects.
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, VAT filings, and related tax documentation.
• Provide expert tax advice on real estate acquisitions, disposals, development costs, and investments.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to structure transactions in a tax-efficient manner.
• Monitor and interpret changes in UAE tax laws and real estate tax policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and consultants during audits and assessments.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks associated with real estate activities.
• Develop tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
• Ensure proper documentation and internal controls related to taxation are maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional tax qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CTA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of tax experience, with significant focus on real estate development or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and real estate-specific tax regulations.
• Experience managing tax compliance and reporting for complex real estate transactions.
• Familiarity with tax planning, structuring, and risk mitigation in real estate sector.
• Proven ability to liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
