The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in OTN technologies, transport network protocols, embedded software development, and system-level programming.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Design, develop, and maintain OTN software modules using C++.\n\n- Work on OTN network elements, transport systems, and control plane functionalities.\n\n- Develop features related to OTN framing, multiplexing, mapping, and performance monitoring.\n\n- Analyze and troubleshoot software issues in telecom transport networks.\n\n- Participate in architecture design, code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.\n\n- Collaborate with system architects, verification teams, and hardware engineers.\n\n- Optimize software performance, scalability, and reliability.\n\n- Prepare technical documentation and support product releases.\n\nRequired Skills : \n\n- 10+ years of experience in C++ development.\n\n- Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, STL, multithreading, and data structures.\n\n- Good understanding of OTN technologies (OTUk, ODUk, OPUk, GCC, FEC, G.709).\n\n- Experience with Layer-1 transport networking concepts.\n\n- Knowledge of SONET/SDH, DWDM, Ethernet transport, and MPLS-TP.\n\n- Experience working on Linux-based development environments.\n\n- Familiarity with debugging tools such as GDB, Valgrind, and Wireshark.\n\n- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.\n\nPreferred Skills : \n\n- Experience with telecom equipment vendors such as Nokia, Ciena, Cisco, or Juniper Networks.\n\n- Knowledge of embedded Linux and real-time systems.\n\n- Experience with YANG, NETCONF, SNMP, or network management systems.\n\n- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and automated testing frameworks.\n\nEducation : \n\n- Bachelor's or Master's
