Reporting to the D&T Business Partner Director, the role will support the effective management of the project portfolio through structured demand intake, prioritization, portfolio reporting, budget and capacity tracking, and governance.\nThe Senior Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project sponsors to define requirements and ensure projects are successfully delivered from initiation through implementation, cutover, and closure.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPMO Governance and Portfolio Management\nEstablish and maintain project governance standards, processes, templates, and PMO tools.\nManage demand intake, assessment, and prioritisation based on business value, strategic alignment, cost, capacity, dependencies, and risk.\nMaintain portfolio visibility across project status, milestones, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.\nSupport portfolio budget, forecast, resource, and capacity tracking.\nCoordinate project reviews, portfolio reviews, steering committees, and escalations.\nEnsure projects have clearly defined scope, sponsorship, ownership, objectives, benefits, budgets, and success measures.\nPrepare portfolio dashboards and management reports to support leadership decision-making.\nBusiness Analysis\nGather, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements.\nFacilitate stakeholder workshops involving business, technology, and vendor teams.\nDevelop process maps, gap analyses, business requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nMaintain requirements traceability throughout design, delivery, testing, and implementation.\nCoordinate User Acceptance Testing, including test scenarios, business participation, defect resolution, retesting, and sign-off.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, standardisation, and automation.\nProject and Programme Management\nLead strategic, technology, transformation, and operational projects through the full delivery lifecycle.\nDefine and manage project scope, plans, milestones, budgets, resources, deliverables, and dependencies.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams across business, technology, finance, procurement, operations, and external vendors.\nMaintain and actively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, with timely escalation of material concerns.\nManage scope changes through appropriate change-control and impact-assessment processes.\nManage vendors and implementation partners against agreed deliverables, milestones, and commitments.\nCoordinate testing, implementation readiness, cutover, transition to operations, and project closure.\nDocument lessons learned and ensure outstanding actions are appropriately managed.\nPerformance and Stakeholder Management\nMonitor delivery against agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, risks, and KPIs.\nProvide leadership with clear reporting on project health, milestones, budgets, dependencies, risks, and required decisions.\nAct as the primary coordination point between project sponsors, business teams, technology teams, and vendors.\nLead project reviews and steering committees, ensuring actions and decisions have clear owners and target dates.\nManage stakeholder expectations and support the resolution of cross-functional issues and competing priorities.\nQualifications and Experience\nEssential\nBachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of seven years’ experience managing projects or programmes within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.\nProven experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing project budgets.\nExperience establishing or improving project management or PMO functions.\nStrong experience in PMO governance, demand management, prioritisation, portfolio reporting, and budget and resource tracking.\nExperience in business requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, stakeholder workshops, and User Acceptance Testing.\nPrevious experience in tourism, hospitality, destination management, or a related sector.\nDesirable\nMaster’s degree in project management, Business Management, or a related discipline.\nProfessional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.\nSkills and Capabilities\nStrong project and programme management capability.\nStrong PMO governance and portfolio management knowledge.\nStrong business analysis and requirements-management skills.\nExperience in planning, budgeting, RAID management, change control, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.\nExperience coordinating UAT, implementation readiness, cutover, and operational transition.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.\nAbility to translate complex business and technology matters into clear executive-level reporting.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and project or portfolio management tools.\nGood understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery approaches.\nHighly organised, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.\nProfessional work ethic and resilience when working under pressure.\nInnovative and adaptable approach to process improvement and change management.\n Define and enforce project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.\n Conduct business analysis to capture requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.\n Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation through implementation, cutover, and closure.\n Lead demand intake, prioritisation, and portfolio reporting for the Strategy & PMO function.\n Track project budgets, resource capacity, and financial performance against targets.\n Coordinate cross-functional teams, technology partners, and external vendors to meet delivery milestones.\n Facilitate risk, issue, and change management processes and maintain mitigation plans.\n Produce regular status reports and executive dashboards for senior leadership.\n Ensure alignment of projects with organisational strategy and business objectives.\n Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO practices.\n Minimum 8 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.\n Proven track record delivering complex technology and operational programs on time and within budget.\n Strong knowledge of PMO governance, portfolio management, and demand intake processes.\n Excellent business analysis skills and ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions.\n Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet) and reporting suites.\n Experience managing multi-vendor environments and large cross-functional teams.\n PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.\n Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s a plus.\n Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.\n Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing
