Miratech retains nearly 1000 full-time professionals, and our annual growth rate exceeds 25%.\n Summary\nWe seek a skilled Data Engineer to join a data team supporting the rebuild of a core analytics platform. The project involves modernizing existing data processes and developing reliable data solutions using strong SQL, Python, Bash scripting, and AI-assisted development practices.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, test, and maintain SQL, Python, and Bash solutions to support data engineering and migration activities.\nAnalyze and reverse engineer existing Sybase IQ/Informatica data pipelines, ETL processes, SQL, and transformation logic to support migration to the target platform.\nBuild and maintain data processing pipelines, transformations, and automated workflows within the modern data environment.\nPerform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks between existing and newly developed processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nAutomate routine engineering, data processing, and operational tasks using Python and Bash.\nLeverage AI tools for code development, debugging, testing, automation, and overall engineering productivity.\nCollaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, understand business use cases, document solutions, and ensure deliverables align with project objectives\n 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Developer, with strong hands-on proficiency in Python.\nStrong SQL skills with experience working with relational databases; exposure to Sybase is preferred.\nHands-on experience with Bash scripting and Linux environments.\nGood understanding of data processing, transformation, data quality validation, and reconciliation across systems.\nPractical experience using AI tools for development, code generation, debugging, testing, and engineering productivity.\nSolid understanding of database modeling, normalization, and data design concepts.\nWillingness to work from the Gurugram or Mumbai office 3-4 days per week.\nNice to have:\nExperience with Snowflake and dbt is a plus.\nExperience in the finance industry and knowledge of financial products and markets is a plus.\nExperience with data migration, platform modernization, or reverse engineering existing data processes is a plus.\n We offer:\nCulture of
