In this role, you will work closely with Operations and Development teams to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical, scalable databases. You will be responsible for database performance, availability, and automation, while also supporting modernization efforts into cloud-based database environments.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and administer highly available and performant MySQL databases.\nSupport production databases across global data centers.\nConfigure, monitor, and troubleshoot MySQL replication and clustering.\nProvide database reports and queries for internal stakeholders.\nPerform performance tuning, backup/recovery, and proactive monitoring.\nTroubleshoot complex database issues to maintain system availability.\nAutomate database tasks using scripting (Python, Shell, or Bash).\nDocument database designs, processes, and operational guidelines.\nFollow change management processes for production environments.\n 5+ years of overall professional experience, including 3+ years of hands-on MySQL administration.\nExperience with GCP (preferred) or AWS cloud database technologies.\nStrong understanding of MySQL implementation, performance tuning, and replication (master-master).\nProficiency with MySQL administration tools and monitoring performance indicators (IO, CPU, queries).\nExperience writing SQL queries, including for reporting and analytics.\nSolid knowledge of Linux for database administration.\nScripting skills in Python (preferred), Shell, or Bash.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nNice to have:\nExposure to SQL Server administration.\nData warehouse experience (e.g., Google
