Responsibilities also include monitoring supplier performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.\n\nEssential Duties\nUsing the approved supplier list, negotiate supplier contracts and terms to secure best quality, delivery and cost for goods and services required by the organization\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, facilitating regular cadence of governance\nMonitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as needed\nReviews and processes purchase requisitions and purchase orders, maintain purchase order accuracy and ensure compliance with all company policies\nWork closely with A/P and Materials team as it relates to purchases, invoices, and receiving\nAddress day-to-day procurement issues like delivery delays or quality concerns\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs to ensure timely availability of materials\nWork with planning and operational excellence team to implement lean practices with supplier such as kanban, min/max or just in time manufacturing processes\nPrepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures\nMaintain the supplier master and all purchasing data in the ERP system\n\nEssential Requirements\nProficiency in inventory management systems and production planning software.
