We are a global business, powered by local geographical presence throughout Europe, Asia, and the USA.\n\nThe Financial Controller - IST position is based in Farnborough and belongs to the Technologies Division Europe & Asia reporting to the Vice President Finance Technologies.\n\nDefinition\n\nPreparation of financial statements and management accounts.\n\nPurpose of the Role\n\nResponsible for ensuring the smooth running of all financial activities for Mirion Technologies (IST) UK with the support of two finance team members.\n\nPrinciple Responsibilities\nDay to day management of the Finance function\nPreparation, review and submission of monthly management accounts in OneStream and variance analysis\nPreparation of forecasts and budgets\nPreparation and supervision of monthly balance sheet reconciliations\nSupervise and manage the Finance team\nLiaise and support external auditors\nLiaise and support external accountant in the preparation of statutory accounts\nPreparation and submission monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reports\nManagement of cash flow ensuring the company has sufficient funds in meeting its liabilities as they fall due\nSupport the UK VP in managing & achieving yearly AOP targets; (Revenue, Opex, EBITDA and Net Working Capital)\nOn time preparation and submission of VAT, ESCL and other formal submissions/returns\nSupervise payroll function\nLiaise with corporate and external broker for annual insurance renewals\nReview stock levels, cycle counts, and annual stocktakes\nLook to constantly improve and evolve the financial function including reporting, systems and processes\nAd-hoc request and queries as required\nAbide by Mirion Mission and Values\nCooperate with the Company’s policies, procedures and provisions related to quality, safety and environmental management\n\nParallel Responsibilities\nMakes confident, fact-based decisions \nForecasts issues in advance to prevent potential impacts; both internally and externally \nFacilitates communication between team members to ensure efforts are aligned \nAdvocates the RBT & improvement of the management reporting structure\nTakes accountability for delivering on commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development\nAdept at using logic and reasoning to work through problems and analyse information\nStrong leadership skills with previous line-management experience\nBe supportive of the Management system in all day-to-day work\nBe aware of Health and Safety of self and others and report all matters as necessary\nBe considerate of the environment in all business dealings\n\nQualifications and Experience\nQualified management accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a strong technical skill set around management reporting and delivery\nMicrosoft D365 experience is desirable\nStrong people management experience\nSolid understanding and experience of accounting and finance principles and its application\nStrong analytical skills\nStrong written and oral communication skills \nStrong business partnering and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work well in high pressure situations to meet deadlines\nHigh degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint \nStrong project management skills\nProactive approach to solving problems and dealing with challenges\nAbility to prioritise and manage numerous simultaneous tasks\nOrganised, flexible and adaptable to changing conditions. Ability to use AX and management reporting tools (OneStream)\nOwnership and accountability of output, including dedication and commitment to driving results\nPrevious experience in
