Working closely with the other site HR Business Partner to ensure the site has a strong, pro-active, and effective HR presence. \n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES\nBusiness partner with managers and support employees on HR related matters, including HR policies and procedures, employee well-being and personal development.\nProvide HR support in areas such as performance management, absence management and employee relations.\nProvide monthly headcount data.\nCo-ordinate the on-boarding for all new starters, including the induction program.\nSupport the Recruitment Manager with the recruitment process.\nWorks closely with Payroll to report HR changes and assists employee and managers with the Ultipro Time Management system.\nMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.\nActive member of committees and special projects, including Health & Safety Committee.\nPartner with and be an active member of the global HR team.\nSupport employee engagement activities.\nAssist with change management processes.\nEnsure the organizations policies and processes are kept up to date and are effectively communicated.\nActively support the Investors in People process and be an ambassador for I.I.P.\n\nGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nCompensation and Benefits\nCo-ordination of the annual merit review process.\nCo-ordination of the bonus programs and sales incentive plans.\nAdministration of company benefits, including healthcare and 401k.\nEmployee Relations\nManage investigations and employee relations casework, including dispute resolution, disciplinary, grievances, short and long-term sickness, appeals, restructuring/lay-offs, absence management, and performance management.\nSupport managers by providing advisory and consultative services on all aspects of employee relations ensuring compliance with best practice and employment law.\n\nTraining and Development\nSupport the Leadership Academy.\nEnsure all approved training takes place and followed-up.\nAssist with the co-ordination of the Mentoring Program.\n\nESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS\nResults focused and committed to achieving targets.\nStrong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.\nExcellent knowledge of HR policies, procedures and processes.\nKnowledge of current employment law and an awareness of HR best practice.\nAble to demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.\nAdaptable to changing priorities.\nAbility to build relationships at all levels.\nExperience of coaching managers on HR issues.\nUnderstanding of state and federal wage and hour laws.\nExperience of working with unions.\nKnowledge of HR regulations and policies.\nAbility to work independently as well as being a team player.\nStrong organizational and priority management skills.\nExcellent written and oral skills.\n\nAMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nMinimum 5 years’ HR generalist experience.\n\nEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nRelevant HR qualification/s (i.e. HR
