If the position is that of a professional or counseling position, then educational background requirements shall be dictated by that particular profession and/or funded contract.\nGood reading, writing and communication skills.\nAwareness of the disease of addiction.\nAbility to organize and prioritize various tasks required by the job.\nNon-professional positions must have experience in the type of job required (e.g. secretarial volunteers must be proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft® Office including Word, Excel, Access, filing and answering the phone in a business-like manner; custodial volunteers must have knowledge of the proper chemicals to be used on the different surfaces, etc.) and shall meet the policies set forth by the agency.\nExperience requirements may vary with the type of job.\nVolunteers for counseling and/or other professional type positions must have the valid credentials required by the state and local agencies.\nThe majority of positions within Mirror, Inc. require the use of computer skills and applicants must have some knowledge of or possibly some proficiency in computer skills or experience or skills with an Electronic Health Record.
