Take advantage of tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.\nAs a Recreation Instructor, You Will:\nPlan and facilitate person-centered Music, Creative Arts, Theater, Dance, and Wellness & Fitness programs\nBuild lesson plans and adapt programs for a variety of ability levels\nWork with Performance Arts team members and the Resident Events coordinator to plan and implement on-campus and community events, including dances, concerts, parties, resident events, and sporting events\nProvide leadership and instruction to direct care staff on Active Treatment techniques and activities during regularly scheduled programming, activities, and events\nDevelop and maintain communication with residential areas and volunteers to increase participation in planned events and activities\nAssist with post-programming activities as needed\nAssist with Special Olympics events as needed\nManage time effectively and work independently\nTraining and Professional with developmental and intellectual disabilities.\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least one year of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities\nAbility to build lesson plans focusing on person-centered classes and programs in Music, Creative Arts, Theater, Dance, and Wellness & Fitness for a variety of ability levels\nExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills\nAbility to work with Performance Arts team members and the Resident Events coordinator in planning and implementing a variety of on-campus and community events\nStrong leadership skills, including the ability to instruct direct care staff on Active Treatment techniques and activities\nAbility to help develop and maintain communication with residential areas and volunteers\nGood time management skills and ability to work independently\nIn good standing in regard to attendance and punctuality policy\nAdherence to scheduled hours in current position\nPay\nBase Pay\n$23.00 per
